Kooparc offers modern holiday homes and villas in a unique, small-scale holiday park along the dyke, by the waters of the Rhederlaag recreational area, and close to beautiful nature reserves.
Kooparc is a tribute to both indoor and outdoor living. A tribute to freedom, to the longing for messy hair and bare feet in the sand. Our holiday homes are located in a unique spot along the dyke, in perfect harmony with nature. In the surrounding area, you’ll find space to relax, unwind, and enjoy our excellent service and hygiene.
Who We Are
We are Kooparc: a true family business with roots in a completely different industry the trade of construction materials for large clients. With great enthusiasm, we embarked on this new adventure. Our original company remains active in that sector, but in the meantime, we have also found our passion in developing a small-scale holiday park.
More than five years ago, we bought the office building at Uitmeentsestraat 4 in Giesbeek. The adjacent land originally intended as a parking area for the Rhederlaag recreational zone had a camping designation for a maximum of 40 pitches. However, Jody (father) and Dooby (son) saw more potential: a unique location for 9 luxury holiday homes. We developed that idea with conviction.
The road to get there wasn’t always easy. A lengthy permit process and the COVID-19 crisis with rising construction costs forced us to make adjustments. But today we can proudly say: we did it and how!
What do we find important?
At Kooparc, everything revolves around small scale and personal contact. We think it’s important that you know who’s behind this park: we are the Koopmans family. We developed the park based on our own ideas about what makes a holiday special.
For us, a holiday means: spending time with family and friends, enjoying peace, space, and comfort. A good night’s sleep is essential. That’s why we chose extra-wide box spring beds (1.80 m) and make sure all the beds are freshly made upon arrival.
The spacious living room on the upper floor is the heart of the house the place to come together, relax, and make memories. The 16.5 m² roof terrace offers a beautiful view of the Rhederlaag recreational area and the Veluwe.
As animal lovers, we believe it's only natural that your pet is welcome too. That’s why we’ve specially equipped three of the homes for this.
The surroundings are perfect for cycling and hiking. For bikes, there’s a secured storage area with a personal access code. The hiking trail, Giesepad, runs directly past the houses you step right into nature. And on the other side of the dike are the lake and beach: within five minutes you can have your feet in the water.
Everything is in place for a relaxing stay.
